*You hear a knocking at your door. As soon as you open it, I shove a basket full of chocolate eggs into your arms.* Happy Easter! Spring is here!
Uhm, the weather doesn’t much look it, *I cough*, but unfortunately, I can’t control the weather on Clumsy Linguist. It does whatever it wants.
*We both shrug.*

I am an Emotional Creature by Eve Ensler is a book made out of monologues that are centred around women’s issues such as sexual assault, anorexia and slavery. It’s inspired by the stories of women from all over the world.
This book was emotionally difficult to read because it deals with such horrible topics and it portrays them in their raw true light. However, no matter how hard it is to get through it, the overall impact and message of the book is more than worth it. It’s excellently written and I gave it 5 stars.
Saturday Sunshine
I’ve found a great app that helps me calm down while I try to meditate. It’s called Tide and it simulates the sound of waves while I try to focus on my breath and discipline my mind.
If you’ve always wanted to meditate but you’re not sure where to start, downloading an app such as Headspace or Tide can help you a great deal.
Clumsy Confessions
When I was little, my mum was helping me put on skis. I accidentally kicked her in the face with a ski. She had bruises for another month. My mum is probably the number 1 person who suffers as a consequence of my absolute clumsiness.
Sorry, mum.
I have an Instagram! Well, I’ve had it for a while, but I’m trying to revive it again, so here it is:
I share what I’m reading at the moment, some language tips and also just moments from my writing life. You’re welcome to join our little community on there, and hopefully, we can grow!
I wish you a lovely weekend.
