*Your doorbell rings. Once you open the door, I meet you with a bright smile and a little awkward dance.*
It’s a new year, yay! Time to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best!
Are you ready? No? Well, you don’t have a choice. Time doesn’t wait for anybody.
Come along!
Saturday Sunshine
I’ve entered the year 2021 feeling very in sync with myself, let’s say.
I vowed to do more self-reflective work when it comes to my mind and all the garbage that I still need to sort through. I promised myself I would focus on myself more - my thoughts, my emotions, my body.
So far, so good.
If you just stop for a moment and focus on your own breath, it can really ground you. Regular practice of mindfulness can offer you a brand new perspective on life - you quickly realise how useless it is to worry about so many unnecessary things.
So take a moment. Bring the focus back to yourself. Make this year about you and your mental well-being.

Clumsy Confessions
I’ve actually learned to properly crochet in the past two weeks, which is the complete opposite of clumsiness.
Maybe there’s still hope for me! Maybe if I crochet enough hats and sweaters, my clumsiness will pack its bags and leave forever.
Let’s wait and see…
Reading Recommendations
As for books, I haven’t finished reading anything, you know, really worth recommending recently.
But! I am reading 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami currently and it’s pretty good. It makes me want to finish all 1300 pages, so there’s certainly something alluring about it.
I’ll update you about that in two weeks.
Here’s a sunflower because if you didn’t know, there are plenty of those on our planet Clumsy Linguist.

*You look at me in confusion and you ask me why.*
Why? Because I like them, that’s why. It’s my planet, so just roll with it, ‘kay?
*I lean in so only you can hear me.* But just between us, you can give me recommendations for any flowers you like. I’ll plant thousands of them, just for you. Not like you’re my favourite citizen or anything. *I wink at you.*
Anyway, that would be all! I hope you have fun and I’ll see you again in 2 weeks.
